Everybody I know seems to have a love/hate relationship with Marcs. The prices are great, they always have cool stuff on clearance, and they have a ton of convenient locations. However, the stores are always small, cramped, you never know what you're going to find, and it takes forever to check out. However, I'm here to tell you that all that is changing. Marcs is doing a fabulous job of renovating their stores and making them way more customer friendly.
They've just remodeled the Stow and Fairlawn locations, and I can tell you, the store is amazing. The aisles are wider, they added a meat department, and the selection of products is great. Their produce department rivals any store around.

As you can see, the produce department is beautiful. There's even a section for high quality cheese. And they still have their fabulous close out section. Another thing I noticed too was that all the registers got new computers, and there now seems to be plenty of staff to get customers checked out faster.

I looooove the new Marc's stores. Why shop anywhere else?
I haven't been to the stores you mentioned, but my store in the Ellet/Sprinfield area has recently been renovated. I especially like how they have expanded the produce section. It used to be really hard to get around in that area.
they redid the marcs in euclid and i don't hate going there anymore! and the past few times i've been there i've gotten through the checkout relatively quickly. woot!

I have not seen the Stow or Fairlawn stores but my Painesville one relocated and it is much better than before.
I haven't seen the new store, but I loved Marc's before this, so now it'll be even better!
I have recently been to one of the remodeled stores, and it is pretty nice! I have to get used to the new location for the medicine/toiletries, though. Great deals on Wii and DS games when I went about a week ago – $10 and less.
I haven't seen the new stores, but I love shopping at Marc's. I am so thankful for their prices, especially on organic produce. Thank you, Mr. Marc!

I agree with the love/hate relationship. They have wonderful prices, but it sure is hard to get around in there sometimes, and my local store just kind of feels dark and dirty, but I'm hopeful for the remodels coming up. HOpe my store is soon.

I haven't seen the newly remodeled stores, but we have a newer store in Avon and I love it!
I have not seen the new store but the one's in Madison and Chardon Ohio are the older ones.
