Believe it or not, Walgreens has FINALLY posted an offical coupon policy on their website. Make sure you print a copy of it to carry with you at the store. It should help to eliminate at least some of the frustration you may have encountered in dealing with the stores.
Here are some of the highlights:
- When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased. Love this one – before this, the store would only accept one coupon this should increase your savings!!
- The coupon amount must be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied. (For example, a $5.00 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value). Love this one too – before it was hit or miss on whether or not they would accept the coupon.
- Walgreens accepts valid internet/print at home coupons.
The policy also talks about Register Rewards and what the rules for those as well.

Can you stack a manufacturer's coupon with a Walgreen's coupon?
Yes, according to the policy, "When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer."
